Invitation to “NOTTERNA“ II – Art walk through peripheries

Saturday, 2. October, 20:00 starting point: in front of Alessandriastraße, 47b

On the occasion of the Bolzano Art Week 2021, we curate the second edition of notterna under the motto “Spotlight”. For this theme, artists have submitted existing and also new works that will now be exhibited throughout the evening. The works are intended to make visible the undiscovered, beautiful, extraordinary, and individual in the neighborhood. The artists exhibit in the public space of Don Bosco and illuminate the neighborhood through the presence of their artworks. We set exclamation marks in the place of everyday life, which are quickly overlooked. Thus an inner courtyard becomes a studio and a park becomes a stage.

This evening will lead you through seven different stations with multimedia artworks by members of the Südtiroler Künstlerbund and artists from South Tirol. In addition to participatory and interactive stations such as a “flying piano” by artist Fabio Zindaco and a sound installation by artist Manuel Oberkalmsteiner, there will be visual art including a beamer installation by artist Silvia Hell, a performance by artist Katharina Schwärzer, sculptures by art student Delilah Friedman and by artist Martin Pöll. In addition, the art collective “GrauerGreif” will perform selected poetry. You will be guided through the evening by actress and author Brigitte Knapp, with a work created in her home office.

Come and join us to live an unforgettable experience!

Notterna is a project by the students Sarah Solderer, Mara Vöcking, and Anu Hakola, from the master course Eco-Social Design and was developed in cooperation with the Südtiroler Künstlerbund.
