The multiple crises require fundamental changes. Part of it is the reorientation of professional roles and practices for contributing effectively to the urgently needed social-ecological transformation. Eco-Social Design is responding to this need by cultivating design practices that are transforming the relations among humans and between humans and nature, in order to move towards more sustainable, non-alienated, resilient, just and equitable futures — both locally and trans-locally.
