The project Impact of Transdisciplinary and Transformative Teaching (ITTT) is documenting transdisciplinary and transformative teaching formats in architecture and design across varying lengths and intensities, and analyze their long-term impact on key stakeholders, such as students, alumni, teachers, researchers, project, partners, and beneficiaries. Building on these insights, it will develop a practical catalogue to explain the formats and provide strategies to measure and strengthen their long-term social impact, offering guidance for other universities in these fields. To this end, the following tasks must be carried out:
- Description of didactical formats
- Interviews with graduates and stakeholders
- Qualitative data analysis
- Design of tools and visual communication for stakeholder workshop
- Organisation and moderation of stakeholder workshop
- Video / Photo / Audio documentation of stakeholder workshop
- Support in drafting of research reports
- Support in drafting of scientific and divulgate articles
- Organisation of events for dissemination and of a multiplier event
- Project management and administration
Expected start: 1 November 2026
Place: Bolzano–Bozen, Italy, with our artners in University of Lichtenstein, University of Hasselt (Belgium), and TU Munich
Duration: 15 months
Amount: 25.062,50 €
Required skills
Experience in organizing projects and in communication with diverse types of stakeholders. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual, and diverse media). Ability to work autonomously and in teams.
Skills based on practice (and strengthened through a basic understanding of related theories), in
- Eco-Social Design or similar fields
- Design Research and/or applied social research
- Participatory and co-design processes
As a basis, a broad conceptual understanding and transversal competencies are required spanning across diverse fields, such as communication design and visual storytelling, web and media design, critical social sciences and pedagogies and heterodox economics.
Languages: English: C1; Language skills in Italian and German are a plus;
