Mesopotamia and Greek Mythos – Interdisciplinary Exploration through Performance, Space, and Poetics

This training course brings together scholars from diverse disciplines such as anthropology, architecture, literature, and cultural studies around one common theme: humanity’s connection to nature. It aims to explore the relationship between nature and human activities through these distinct critical lenses. It seeks to acquaint young learners with a more informed outlook on the life that surrounds them. Participants will engage in workshops organized by scholars on various subjects, and partake in field trips related to some of these subjects. The TC, centered in Batman and Athens aims to bring interdisciplinary collaboration among students and scholars from Turkey, Italy, and Greece. It will explore the realms of world mythologies with a focus on performance, spatial dynamics, poetics, and ecological consciousness. Through workshops, discussions, and practical exercises led by experts from various fields, the TC promotes cultural exchange and collaborative research.
