The project SPATIOTEMPO explores how urban life is shaped not only by spatial factors but also by temporal ones. Within the projects’ transdisciplinary and transformative research and design approach, the key activities of unibz are co-design processes and co-creation of spatio-temporal scenarios that consider spatial and temporal aspects in the 15-minute City (15mC) and time-offices, integrating the local welfare dimensions (mobility, sustainability, care, health). The project develops and implements participatory tools, methods and workshops or co-creating future scenarios for time-oriented urban planning and a practical Guide for a 15-Minute Caring City. This includes creative methods such as participatory mapping, model making, and role-playing. Finally, the project wants to engage a broader audience beyond academia and local institutions, scaling out across Europe and beyond by connecting local action with international networks, contributing to public policy innovation, and interdisciplinary urban research. To make the complex topic and process accessible, appealing, and interactable visual storytelling, information design, and exhibition design play an important role.
