Out of the Ruins.
Practices of co-imagination in precarious contexts
an open lecture by the Post Disaster Collective.
22.10.2024 17:00-19.00 La Rotonda
The “Don Bosco Collection” is the outcome of the first phase of Project (MA Eco-Social Design) 2024-2025. The topic of the course is Inhabiting Borders, and the focus of the first phase was the collective exploration of the Don Bosco neighborhood in Bolzano.
In the temporary exhibition at “La Rotonda” (via Alessandria), together with our partner OfficineVispa, we take a closer look at the neighborhood. Each student explored the area during the first few weeks, listening to stories, mapping services and public spaces, observing through their own lens, and collecting moments of community life. The resulting projects raise questions about the past, present and future of the neighborhood. The exhibition is conceived as an interactive space between students, teachers, residents, and visitors. A big thanks to our guests in the past weeks, Piero Zanini, Post Disaster Collective, Elisabeth Tauber, Teresa Palmieri, Sonia Matos, Campomarzio Collective, Gianluca Tenin, and Sergio Previdi (Officina Vispa), who, along with professors Angelika Burtscher and Jacopo Ammendola, provided initial insights on the topics and on the neighborhood.
