Climate Action South Tyrol and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano’s Competence Centre for Sustainability will host an evening event examining practical and theoretical approaches to alternative economic models, with a focus on concrete South Tyrolean examples.
Dr. Elisabeth Gsottbauer, environmental economist and head of the Sustainability Competence Centre, will open the event by outlining the principles of common-good-oriented economic thinking and the growing relevance of alternative business models in today’s socio-ecological context.
The programme will feature three initiatives already applying the principles of the Economy for the Common Good in South Tyrol: Alexander Nitz from the INSIST network and B*Coop in Bressanone; Patrick Unterkircher from the cooperative housing project Kaleido; and Sonja Resch from Steineggerhof, a Biohotel pioneering sustainable and vegan hospitality. They will share experiences on building community-based, ecologically responsible economic alternatives.
Presentations will be held in German; the public Q&A will be multilingual (IT–DE–ENG). The event is open to all and no registration is necessary.
Gemeinwohl & Ökonomie: positive Beispiele aus Südtirol
Climate Action South Tyrol und das Kompetenzzentrum für Nachhaltigkeit der Freien Universität Bozen veranstalten einen Abend, der praktische und theoretische Ansätze alternativer Wirtschaftsmodelle beleuchtet – mit besonderem Fokus auf konkrete, positive Beispiele aus Südtirol.
Dr. Elisabeth Gsottbauer, Umweltökonomin und Leiterin des Kompetenzzentrums Nachhaltigkeit, eröffnet die Veranstaltung mit einer Einführung in die Grundprinzipien gemeinwohlorientierten Wirtschaftens und die wachsende Bedeutung alternativer Geschäftsmodelle im heutigen sozio-ökologischen Kontext.
Das Programm stellt drei Initiativen vor, die Prinzipien der Gemeinwohl-Ökonomie bereits in Südtirol anwenden: Alexander Nitz aus dem INSIST-Netzwerk und Mitgründer von B*Coop in Brixen; Patrick Unterkircher vom genossenschaftlichen Wohnprojekt Kaleido; sowie Sonja Resch vom Steineggerhof, einem Biohotel, das auf nachhaltige und vegane Gastlichkeit setzt. Sie geben Einblicke in ihre Erfahrungen beim Aufbau gemeinschaftsorientierter und ökologisch verantwortungsvoller Wirtschaftsinitiativen.
Die Veranstaltung findet auf Deutsch statt und ist offen für alle; eine Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich.
