Current Debris is about the multiple possible ways of inhabiting the world, of being one and many, of living one’s identity as a never-ending process of decisiveness, self-determination and/or annihilation into the flux.
Massimiliano Cestari (Trento, 1985. Lives and works in Milan, Italy) is an artist and teacher working in the multimedia field. He studied Contemporary Arts in Bologna (DAMS), Audio Engineering (Sae Institute Milan) and New Technologies of Arts (Brera Fine Arts Academy, Milan). At Basis he will present the visual works he has been producing under the alias Current Debris. Current Debris is the dance between abstraction and figuration, biology and technology, atoms and bits.
