La Scuola Opensource

a “Scuola Open Source” (shortly SOS) is a work cooperative based in Bari. It deals with teaching and research in the social, cultural and technological fields through a multidisciplinary approach: co–design, care and organizational processes, communication design, making and hacking are just some of the areas in which it operates. Thanks to an extensive network, it is able to address a broad range of topics with a trans-disciplinary approach.

Giovanni Abbatepaolo (born in 1995) is a multidisciplinary designer, who graduated in Graphic Design and Visual Communication (BA) at ISIA in Urbino. He works at the intersection of information architecture, visual communication, coding, and education. Currently, his research takes place in two areas: the first strand concerns the development of user interfaces to facilitate learning; the second concerns information management and communication to facilitate the work of small and medium-sized organizations and communities.
