Ecological Transition for a resilient economy: Wild West, Challenge or Opportunity?

Human activities have already caused significant damage to our planet. We have put immense pressure on the earth’s ecosystems, leading to biodiversity loss and climate change. By 2050, we will be consuming resources three times the size of the Earth itself. We need an ecological transformation in order to mitigate these problems by reducing emissions, conserving resources, and protecting ecosystems. In this speech, we are talking about the outcomes of our LDV20 ESG Advisory Board, in which we brought representatives from academia and the private sector to the table to discuss the role of sustainable finance, taxonomy, ESG-assessments and the chaos with certificates and energy communities.
