BASIS
- BASIS is wheelchair accessible.

Unibz Bozen-Bolzano campus
- Unibz campus Bozen-Bolzano is wheelchair accessible, apart from the entrance to the F building so we advise to enter from the main entrance in Piazza Università.
- There are accessible toilets in the building and close to the conference room.
- Service animals are permitted to attend.
- There will be seating available in the conference room.
- There is no hearing loop or similar device available.

- There is disabled parking, please email us if you require this so we can book a space.
Travel
BASIS
- If you are travelling by train from Bozen-Bolzano to Schlanders-Silandro – There is currently a rail replacement bus service running from Meran-Merano and Töll-Tel, but this is not wheelchair accessible. A separate service is provided instead, which must be requested at least one day in advance (by 3.30 pm the day before). This can be done by email (from Monday to Sunday) or by phone: +39 0471 450 111 (from Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16 and Friday from 07:30 to 12:30). - Getting from the Schlanders-Silandro train station to BASIS – The route from the train station to BASIS may not be accessible as the ground is rough in places and uphill. If you require a wheelchair-accessible taxi there are two companies available, Martelltal Reisen and Taxi Top.
Unibz Bozen-Bolzano campus
- If you require a wheelchair-accessible taxi in Bozen-Bolzano you can contact Radio Taxi Bolzano. The contact number is usually answered by an automatic answering machine. If this happens it is necessary to specify the desired address and that a wheelchair-accessible taxi is needed (this vehicle is marked with the number 51), it is also okay to speak in English.
Conference activities
- Most sessions (talks or workshops) will last for a maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes, and where possible we will make music and movement breaks in between, see the schedule for more details. Due to time constraints, there will not be any breaks in between paper presentations.
- During the Q&A’s questions can either be written down or spoken out loud.
- We will do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements. Please let us know any that apply to you when you register.
- If you require conference materials in advance then please send us an email.
Accommodation
- The overnight accommodation at BASIS during the conference will be in the form of indoor camping, with everybody sleeping together in the main conference room using their own sleeping bags/ mats etc. Unfortunately, there are no accessible showers or rooms available at BASIS. If you require accessible accommodation, we have found two options which are listed below, please email us if you have any questions.
