Planarian flatworms are remarkably resilient. If you cut off their head, they regrow a new one within days. Even more astonishingly, they not only regenerate their head but also retain memories of tricks they learned before decapitation. What if we, as humans, could remember? What if we could regrow, heal, and expand \u2014 moving toward the future without fear, guided by an ancient bodily wisdom encoded in every cell of our being? This planarian poetry performance invites us to open our minds to the vast universe of our distant relatives, the planarians, and explore what we can learn from their way of navigating life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

About<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Claudia Klingenschmid is an Austrian writer and performer with a degree in Neuropsychology. Her first novel \u00bbParasit ToGo – Die geheimen Wirtschaften eines Urtierchens\u00ab was published by Piper in 2019. It follows the life journey of a single cell organism through its various hosts. Claudia is interested in small organisms, parasites, water and slime. She has published in magazines and anthologies, was a Writer in Residence in Gothenburg \/ Sweden and Seattle \/ USA and her work has been funded by the Austrian Government.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
