“BASIS Vinschgau Venosta, a social activation and creative hub rooted in the rural territory of South Tyrol, but urban at heart, was founded on the vision of a civilian who believed in a better future. This idea has, ten years later, taken physical and tangible form: An abandoned fascist military barrack has been transformed into a shared space where civic engagement grows. It has become a hybrid ground for imagination, social interaction, and collective experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This presentation is about more than just outcomes, it\u2019s about how we get there. About what happens when we choose intention over instinct, when we see value not in the singular, but in the collective. And about what can be brought into existence when we believe in a vision and invest in it \u2013 with hope, and by good measure.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Basis Vinschgau Venosta is the wide-ranging re-use project of the former Drusus barracks in Silandro. The purpose of this Social Activation Hub is for regional and social development in the areas of economy, culture, education, and social affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
