Mycelian Networks
Presented by
Barbara Gamper
In this somatic movement workshop, we will explore the teachings of mycelium as a resource for hope and motivation—inspiring us to resist oppression and reclaim the future. Fungi embody innately decolonial and feminist principles through collaboration, symbiosis, resource-sharing, adaptability, and the decentralization of power. How can we organize more efficiently and build resilient communities rooted in these values? Using somatic tools, we will reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the natural ecosystems we are part of. By sensing into our own nervous system, we’ll draw parallels with the mycelial network—tapping into the profound entanglement between our human bodies and the Earth.
