Planarian Poetry
Presented by
Claudia Klingenschmid
Planarian flatworms are remarkably resilient. If you cut off their head, they regrow a new one within days. Even more astonishingly, they not only regenerate their head but also retain memories of tricks they learned before decapitation. What if we, as humans, could remember? What if we could regrow, heal, and expand — moving toward the future without fear, guided by an ancient bodily wisdom encoded in every cell of our being? This planarian poetry performance invites us to open our minds to the vast universe of our distant relatives, the planarians, and explore what we can learn from their way of navigating life.
