The workshop invites participants to explore the urban environment through the lens of the Right to the City and Urban Commons. Starting with a collective walk, participants will engage in a sensory mapping exercise to identify both barriers and potentials in public spaces — from accessibility challenges to hidden pockets of community life. By combining observation, photography, and collective mapping, the workshop fosters a critical reflection on how public spaces are distributed, accessed, and experienced. In the second part, participants will co-develop small-scale intervention concepts that address the identified issues, imagining temporary installations, citizen-driven initiatives, or participatory design actions that promote more inclusive and vibrant public spaces.
