Negotiating Space: Moving through and Embodying the Dynamics we Shape and are Shaped by
Presented by
Micaela Terk and Filippa Christofalou
How does power shape the spaces around us and, in turn, the ways we can move and learn with them? What do oppressive dynamics do to our bodies, and how to detect the structures we move through and shape? How may we disrupt habitual ways of being through movement and awareness? The workshop will provide participants with the possibility to answer these questions with, in, and through their bodies. The workshop ends with a reflection which centres experience: connecting the dots between movement dynamics, space and relationships.
